THE BIRTHRIGHT OF IMPERFECTION

Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) is an extremely rare hereditary disease. It is often known as 'glass bone disease' because peoples bones are so fragile thaty they tend to break like glass.

This is a portrait series of people who have to cope with this genetic bone disorder a lifetime. Symbolically, these pictures are created on broken glass.
