/artist statement/
stefan sappert’s work is a synergy of conceptual, experimental photography and
the contemporary use of the alternative photographic process of `wetplate photography’.
a pictorealistic mood always is the motivation of his work, which let his pictures seem to be
`outside of time’ – like fragments of dreams.
as an observer and creator, stefan sappert follows his passion in creating handmade fine-art photographs, each a one-of-a-kind artwork. his works are a contrarily statement in today`s superficial and ephemeral picture world.
